Tea Bag Folding is a fascinating craft from Holland where small squares of patterned paper are folded to form intricate designs (similar to Origami). They are worth the work for the gorgeous end result on your scrapbook page. There are so many techniques to make unique additions to your page with just some paper and the know how to folding. This class you will make a beautiful 2 page Christmas 12x12 layout.

The kids got to go to Camp this summer… now it’ s your turn! Join us for Camp at Scrapbook Island for 6 months of fun card making, swapping and inspiration! This is your chance to learn new techniques and work with fabulous products as well as share our ideas and talents with each other.

Card Camp runs for six months from October 2006 through March 2007. We will meet for Camp at Scrapbook Island on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30 pm. Cost is $15 per month with payment for all six months upon sign up. SIGN UP DEADLINE October 4th!

Each month you will receive product to make card projects at Camp as well as product to take home to create cards that you will bring back and swap out the following month. The projects at camp will consist of techniques and tools for you to work with and try out. Each month you will receive sketch ideas and card greeting ideas.

We will also have the opportunity to share ideas with each other as we have fun making and swapping different theme cards each month. Each month at Camp you will draw a name to see who your secret swapper pal is that month. You will have product from Camp to take home and use along with any of your own supplies you want to use to make a set number of cards of a specific theme that you will bring back the following month for your pal. Someone will have your name that will bring back cards for you but the person you are making cards for may not be the same person making them for you!
